Our
opticians, combining over Twenty of experience in the optical
field. We provide personal care and attention to all your
optical needs. The staff at Wallingford Optical is well trained
and committed to working with you for all your visual needs.

Jim
Comeau, Owner, Has a wonderful wife Sandy and two children
JJ and Megan. I grew up in Wallingford and attended Wallingford
school system. I graduated from MT Sheehan High School in
1980. I enjoy watching my kids play Soccer, Basketball, Hockey and
Track. Diane is my sister. |

James Comeau, Licensed
Optician, ABO and NCLE Certified. I began my career by
getting a degree in Ophthalmic Design and Dispensing at
MCC. While going to school I received my certifications
by ABO, the American Board of Opticianry, certifies opticians
— those who dispense and work with spectacles and
NCLE, the National Contact Lens Examiners, certifies those
ophthalmic dispensers who fit and work with contact lenses.
I am certified by the State of Connecticut as an Licensed
Optician. I spent over 12 years working in different Lenscrafters
and Eyeworld Stores. Managing most of the 12 years. I
am also a member of the Connecticut Opticians Association.(COA)

Diane, Licensed Optician, is a single
mom with two great Children Joey and Brian. Diane Grew up
in Wallingford and graduated in 1983 from MT Sheehan. She
now lives in Berlin. Her boys also keep her busy with Soccer,
Basketball, and Skateboarding. Jim is Di’s Brother. |

Diane Mintich, is also a Licensed Optician, ABO and NCLE
Certified. She began her career by getting a degree in Ophthalmic
Design and Dispensing at MCC. She also is certified in ABO
and NCLE. Diane is certified by the State of Connecticut
as an Licensed Optician. Diane also spent some time at Lenscrafters.
She also worked at Walmart and at another Independent store.
Diane specialty is Contact Lenses where she spent over 8
years of working in a high volume Doctors office. Diane
can fit almost anyone in Contacts. Diane is also a member
of the Connecticut Opticians Association.(COA)
